Count your Blessings

This is an all occasion card created for the Imagine Crafts Design Team Challenge showcasing the color Lapis.  What a gorgeous color of blue that is.  We don't have an ink by that name at Tsukineko but by combining several shades of blue I managed to get the color I was looking for.

Description:
Lapis blue is such a beautiful and rich color, it looks so royal! I made a quick but luxurious colored card using scrap paper, DCWV paper, and enhanced glue dots.  It’s a quick, simple design with some unexpected touches of bling, a great way to use up your craft supply stash.
Skill:  All levels
Time: 30 minutes or less

Instructions:

Step 1: Spray Fireworks! Craft Spray in several colors of blue and Lilac Posies on a scrap piece of watercolor paper.  Dry.

Step 2: Cut a square panel from sprayed paper to measure 3 ¾” by 3 ¾”.  Cut a piece of black card stock to measure 4” by 4”, this will be the mat for later. On the sprayed panel stamp circular stamp with text nine times in StazOn Paris Dusk ink. Stamp words a few times on the panel with StazOn Jet Black ink and dry. Apply glue stick randomly onto panel, adhere Prima silver foil in between the circles. Place glue dots around each circle, 16 in all, lay foil on top of dots and lift to have silver raised dots on panel. Mat panel onto the piece of black card stock.

Step 3: Cut Lapis blue colored panel to measure 4 ¾” by 6 3/4”, stamp word at the bottom with VersaMark ink, sprinkle on Silver Embossing Powder and melt with heat tool. Stamp design on panel using StazOn Midnight Blue ink, dry. Apply VersaMark ink on edges of panel, dip into Silver Embossing Powder, and melt with heat gun.

Step 4: Glue large panel to blank card, adhere pop glue dots to the back of the matted panel.  Attach the panel to the top portion of the card; it will be raised by the glue dots to add interest.
